History is better when you actually Go There.
Small group expeditions to the places history actually happened, led by the historians who know them best.
No Commitment. Be the first to know when departures open.
Where We’re Taking You
The War That Shaped Everything:
Ten days through Normandy, Paris, and Germany. The beaches at dawn. The bunkers. The cemeteries. A military historian who brings the strategy, the stories, and the human detail that turns a site into something you feel.
Where the ideas that run the world were born:
Nine days from Athens to Delphi to Olympia. Democracy, philosophy, mythology, and architecture. A classical historian guides every step with the kind of depth that turns ruins into something alive.
The civilization that still does not make complete sense.
Ten days on the Nile, inside royal tombs not open on standard itineraries, at sites most tourists never reach. An Egyptologist who has spent years on excavation sites will change what you think you know before the first day is over.

We Design the Expedition
Every departure is researched, vetted, curated and built around a specific historical moment, person or place.
The itinerary, the lodging, the access, and the experience flow are all decided before you ever see the page.

A Historian Leads the Way
Not your typical tour guide.
A credited expert who has spent years studying exactly where you’re standing. The kind of person who makes you understand something you thought you already knew.
-

You Show Up & Live It
Groups are small by design. Never more than 20 people.
Every day is structured around depth, not distance. You will leave knowing more, feeling more, and seeing travel and history differently than you did before.
You’ve read the books.
Watched the documentaries.
Stood in museums staring at artifacts behind glass.
And somewhere in all of that, you probably thought: I want to actually be there.
Not near there.
There.
In the room & on the ground.
At the site where it actually happened, with someone who has spent their life studying exactly this.
That is what we build.
Why a Historian Changes Everything
Anyone can take you to the Colosseum. Very few people can make you understand it.
A tour guide tells you what you are looking at.
A historian tells you what it means, what came before it, what it cost the people who built it, and why the version of history most people carry around in their heads is missing the most interesting parts.
The historians we travel with are not generalists. They specialize in exactly the place and period we are visiting. They have written books about it. They have run excavations there. They have spent years inside the academic world of this subject, and they have agreed to share that with a small group of people who are genuinely ready to receive it.
You will not come home with only a new stamp in your passport.
You will come home with a new way of thinking about the world.
Your Questions, Answered
-
People who love history deeply and want to experience it properly. You do not need to be an academic or a frequent traveler. You need to be genuinely curious, open to depth over distance, and ready for a trip that asks something of you intellectually. Our travelers tend to be professionals and entrepreneurs in their 30s through 60s who have done standard travel and are ready for something with more substance.
-
They are with you every day. They lead the site visits, provide context and narrative, answer your questions, and take you to the moments and details that would be invisible without them. These are not guest lecturers who show up once. They are the backbone of the entire experience.
-
Never more than 20 people. Most departures run between 12 and 16. Small groups mean better access, more conversation with the historian, and a completely different quality of experience than you get with 40 strangers.
-
Trips start at a minimum of $5,000 per person depending on destination, duration, and included services. Flights are not included. Travel insurance is required. Full pricing is shared when departure details are announced to the interest list.
-
We are building the first departures now. Interest list members will receive dates and details before anyone else. If you know you want to join when spots open, joining the list is the right move.
Be the First to Know
Departure dates will be announced to the interest list before they go live anywhere else.
Groups are small and spots go fast.
We also send a weekly history drop that our subscribers tell us is the one email they actually look forward to reading.
